We are excited to announce that the fourth batch of the OnePiece Labs x 0G Incubator program is officially underway! This transformative initiative, supported by our esteemed partner 0G, is designed to accelerate innovation at the cutting edge of Web3 and AI technologies. Our selected cohort of startups is set to redefine the boundaries of decentralized technology and artificial intelligence, and we are thrilled to support them on their journey.

What Makes This Batch Special?

This batch brings together some of the most promising startups in the Web3 and AI space, each leveraging the power of blockchain and AI to deliver groundbreaking solutions. From enhancing knowledge management with AI-driven platforms to pioneering new approaches in gaming and data privacy, these projects are at the forefront of technological advancement.

Key Highlights of the Program

  • Dedicated Support: Our startups will benefit from 10 weeks of intensive support, including access to the OPL Mentor Network and the OPL Alumni Network.
  • Funding Opportunities: Each startup will have the chance to receive up to $50,000 in grants, with additional follow-up investment opportunities of up to $200,000 from OnePiece Labs and the 0G Foundation.
  • Corporate Service Credits: We are offering $50,000 in service credits from leading tech platforms such as AWS, Brex, and Github.

Spotlight on the Startups

0xKnowledge

0xKnowledge, led by Joshua Sum, is building the world’s first AI-augmented, Web3-native documentation platform and personalized AI assistants. 0xKnowledge is spearheading the integration of AI and blockchain to create a self-maintaining knowledge base management system. This platform aims to streamline knowledge capture across various sources, enabling the creation of personalized AI assistants for every employee. This addresses critical inefficiencies in unifying data and documentation, transforming how knowledge is accessed, utilized, and shared across industries. The company has already secured 5 customers and 2 distribution partners and is currently raising seed funding.

CARV

CARV, founded by Chloe Gu, is developing a modular data layer for gaming and AI, revolutionizing how data is used and shared by ensuring privacy, ownership, and control are firmly in the hands of individuals. CARV Protocol is pioneering a future where data generates value for all. With over 750 games and AI companies, 2.5 million registered players, and $1 million in monthly recurring revenue, CARV is on the path to transforming data value and accessibility. The company is currently raising $20 million.

Cygnus Finance

Cygnus Finance, founded by Eric Cheung, is building the first modular real yield layer that combines non-EVM systems with the EVM ecosystem. Cygnus EVM-compatible ZK rollup integrates systems such as TON with the EVM ecosystem, providing a yield-bearing Liquidity Validation System that helps over 7 billion people acquire digital assets. The company, led by OKX Ventures and supported by the Optimism Foundation with a TVL of over $35 million and more than 100,000 users, is raising $15 million.

DataHive 

DataHive, founded by Ray Gill, is developing a Layer 2 solution for user-owned AI operating on user-owned data. DataHive connects data publishers with data consumers in a decentralized network and marketplace, paving the way for a decentralized AI future where user-owned AI is created and controlled from the bottom up, relying on verified real-time and real-world data. With $150,000 in booked revenue and launching with over 1 million users, DataHive is raising seed funding after a successful pre-seed round.

Heph

Heph AI, founded by Andreas Schemm, Marius Hamacher, and Will Mercer, is an AI model training and quality assurance platform using a global workforce of over 174,000 data labelers. Heph AI offers a hybrid Human/Machine labeling approach that is significantly more cost-effective and faster than traditional services. In 2023, Heph AI labeled over 2.5 billion data points with an accuracy exceeding 97%. The company is raising $2 million.

Infinity Ground

InfinityGround, founded by Lani Zhang, is the first AI-native gaming Appchain powered by SVM Rollup, providing modular tools for AI gaming development. Infinity Ground offers tools like the RAG Engine, Creator Copilot, and Model Router to make AI gaming development easier and form a unified ecosystem to reduce fragmentation for individual AI games. With 5 games and 4 movie IPs onboarded for interactive AI movies in less than one month, Infinity Ground raised over $200,000 in its angel round and is progressing with its seed round.

MetaPals

MetaPals, founded by Max Giammario and Lingga Pradipta, is integrating digital companions into daily lives through custom-built overlay technology. MetaPals offers personalized, gamified AI companions that learn from user interactions and form deep emotional bonds with users. With over 55,000 users, high retention rates, and successful NFT launches, MetaPals is raising $1 million.

Fractopus

Fractopus, founded by Handuo Zhang, Chao Chao, and John Zhu, is developing a protocol that connects internet content into a peer-to-peer revenue-sharing network. Fractopus is enabling monetization of AI-generated content through its multimedia publishing platform, Copus, which has partnered with ComfyUI (10 million users) and WaytoAGI (800,000 members). The company raised $380,000 in its angel round and is progressing with its pre-seed round.

Vishwa

Vishwa, founded by Nova Wong, Vishwa is developing LayerM Infra, an Omni Inter-liquidity Protocol secured by BTC L1. It allows BTC holders to earn returns without the risk of centralization, achieving major breakthroughs in permissionless verification, omni-chain asset swaps, and BTC's L1 pledge system. Vishwa is currently in the midst of a $3 million pre-seed fundraise and is backed by Paramita Ventures, Stratified Capital, and Ausvic Capital. The team includes successful Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and academic experts from Stanford, Berkeley, and CMU.

Nine Suns

 

Nine Suns, founded by Tsung H, Nine Suns is building a secure private data network that enables developers to utilize private data locally for AI applications. Unlike cloud services, Nine Suns ensures data security and owner control, allowing personalized AI development on any device. The company is currently raising $150,000 and its infrastructure is designed to complement the 0G ecosystem, advancing AI application capabilities.

Upcoming Milestones

The incubator program will culminate in a Demo Day on September 16th, 2024, where each startup will pitch their venture to an extensive network of investors.
